On Saturday, August 1 about 50 members of the Hanover High Class of 1968 and their guests held their 30th Reunion at the the Dartmouth Skiway. We came from far (Rick Higgins brought a guest from the Philippines, Chris Copenhaver came from Seattle and Dick Baker and family and JoAnn Remington from Florida) and near. We were honored by the presence of David Pierpont (football and track coach) and Ford Daley (science teacher). Some of those who couldn't attend sent letters and photos which were on display.
The 80 attendees enjoyed activities included lots of talking, laughing and hanging around and eating dinner catered by Blood's.(Thanks, John, for the shrimp!). Some climbed the Skiway trails and told stories of their last trip down the Mountain. Cameras were everywhere. Should we mention that we had to squint to read each other's name tags, and the Inde photos on some name tags helped a lot?!? Jim Harlow handed out a 3 page quiz (optional) with questions about various people in the class and and other '68 trivia. Fortunately, an answer sheet was handed out later in the evening for those of us who have no memory of events later than last Saturday...
